What it does

Sword describes Thrive as AI care for pain from home: members complete sessions with their smartphone or the Thrive Pad, Vision AI captures movement data, and the company describes the care as clinician-led. The page states that its outcome claims are relative to the digital health and wellness services provided and not to the medical devices that may support such services.

Independent evidence

Established from a source other than the company.

The FDA's registration and listing database lists Sword Health with a device listing under product code ISD (exerciser, measuring; Class 2), proprietary names Sword Thrive and Digital Therapist. This is an establishment registration and device listing, not a clearance: openFDA holds no 510(k) record for a Sword applicant. The App Store listing Sword Health: AI Care App (seller SWORD HEALTH, INC.) is marked as a medical device and names Thrive among its programmes.

Notes on this record

Only iOS and the Thrive Pad are recorded: the Android listing was not read. Pricing is not published. The Portuguese national health service agreement of June 2026 covers Sword's AI physiotherapy; no source read names Thrive as the product used there.
