What it does
Sword launched Dawn on 9 March 2026 as its first direct-to-consumer product. The company says Dawn is powered by a proprietary foundational model built for mental health and is integrated with MindGuard, a suite of safety classifiers it says it has open-sourced. The Google Play listing says Dawn is an AI guide, not a crisis service, that it does not replace therapy, diagnosis or emergency care, and that it is not intended for use by minors.
The App Store listing (developer Sword Health, Inc) offers the app free with in-app purchases of $19.99 a month or $143.99 a year and rates it 18+, while the Google Play listing is rated for 3+. It is a wellness product by the company's own description and carries no regulatory status.
