About Recent HealthTech
A source-backed library of HealthTech companies and products, and a small publication about them.
Last updated 16 September 2026
What this is
Recent HealthTech is a discovery and product-intelligence site for health technology. Most of it is a structured library: companies and products, classified by category, clinical area, technology, user and market, each record carrying the sources it was built from. The rest is editorial: the Radar of dated developments, the Patterns library of how products handle common tasks, the Journal, and the “Get Recent” newsletter.
Every material fact in the library cites a source, and a company’s own description of itself is shown as its own description, not as an independent finding. The Methodology page explains how records are selected, classified and verified, and what “last verified” means.
What it is not
Recent HealthTech is an industry-intelligence publication. It is not a diagnostic service, a symptom checker, a treatment recommender, a clinical decision system or a patient record system, and nothing on it is medical advice. It holds no patient data and never will.
It is not a directory that companies pay to appear in, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, use or invest in anything.
Who makes it
Recent HealthTech is made by a small editorial team under the byline Recent HealthTech. Research uses software to draft, classify and summarise; a person checks every published fact against its source before it is published, and the Editorial policy says exactly how.
Recent HealthTech is published by Dr. Omar Hagag, founder and responsible publisher of Recent HealthTech.
How it is paid for
Today, by nobody: there is no advertising, no sponsorship and no paid placement. If sponsorship is ever introduced it will be labelled as such and kept apart from editorial judgement. No company can pay to be ranked, to be included, or to be called verified, verification is a method, described on the Methodology page, not a badge for sale.
