Editorial policy
How things are written here, how claims are attributed, how software is used, and how corrections and takedowns work.

Voice and standards
Concise, neutral, specific and clinically literate. No superlatives that the evidence does not support, and no product is ever “revolutionary” or “game-changing” here. A description says what a product does: “an AI documentation platform that generates draft clinical notes from clinician to patient conversations”, not what its marketing hopes it means.
How claims are attributed
Three kinds of statement are kept apart, always. A company claim is what a company says about itself: “the company says the product reduces documentation time”, and is shown as that. Independent evidence is what a published study, a regulator or another independent source reported, cited to that source. Recent analysis is this publication’s own reading, and says so.
A company’s marketing claim is never presented as an independently established fact. Where a claim cannot be traced to a source, the field stays empty: an empty field is honest and a guessed one is a defect.
Sources
Sources are ranked in tiers (primary and authoritative first, reputable independent reporting second, industry and community sources third) and a record is not published without at least one. The Methodology page describes the tiers, what verification means, what happens when sources contradict each other, and what “last verified” means on a record.
How software is used
Software, including AI models, is used during research to draft, classify, extract and summarise: to propose a summary of an announcement, to suggest a category, to find duplicates. Nothing it proposes is published on its own: a person reads every proposal, checks every published fact against its source, and decides.
AI is never the sole authority for a funding figure, a regulatory status, a clinical claim, an acquisition, a trial result or where a product is available. Journal articles are written by people under the Recent HealthTech byline, with software as an assistant, and cite the records and sources they are built from.
Corrections
If something here is wrong it will be fixed. Corrections are welcome from anyone, including the companies profiled, and being profiled gives nobody editorial control over what is written. A useful request names the page, the claim, and a source for what is right.
A corrected record shows its change; a corrected article shows the correction rather than being silently rewritten, and an article that is withdrawn is withdrawn, not quietly changed. Material corrections are noted on the page they affect.
We work to keep Recent HealthTech accurate and source-backed. If you notice an error, outdated information or a missing source, please contact us. We review corrections and appreciate readers who help improve the record.

Company updates
A company can suggest itself, or an update to its record, through the suggestion form. Every suggestion is read by a person and enters the same review as everything else; nothing is published because it was suggested, and no company edits its own record.
Screenshots and takedown
Where a pattern shows a screenshot of a product, the image is stored by Recent HealthTech (never loaded from someone else’s server) and its record carries who owns it, the page it was taken from, the day it was captured, and what permits its use. A screenshot cannot be published without that record.
A request to correct or remove a screenshot is acted on by removing the image first and asking questions second: a takedown recorded in the workspace takes the image off this site on the next request, with no copy kept anywhere along the way.
You can reach Recent HealthTech at hello@recenthealthtech.com.
Names and logos
Company and product names and logos are their owners’ marks. They are shown to identify the company or product a record describes, and nothing here claims a licence for them or any endorsement by their owners. A company that objects to how its mark is shown can ask for it to be removed through the same route as a correction.
Sponsorship and independence
There is no sponsorship today. If it is ever introduced it will be labelled clearly and kept separate from editorial ranking and editorial conclusions. Nothing is ever ranked, included or described as verified in exchange for payment.
