What it does
Natural Cycles' app uses basal body temperature, measured with a thermometer or a compatible wearable, to identify fertile days, with modes for preventing pregnancy, planning and following a pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause. The company lists the NC° Band, Oura Ring, Garmin, WHOOP and Apple Watch as compatible wearables.
Independent evidence
Established from a source other than the company.
FDA records for the applicant Natural Cycles Nordic AB, product code PYT (a software application for contraception and fertility, Class 2), show six decisions: the De Novo DEN170052 (10 August 2018) and the 510(k) clearances K202897 (24 June 2021), K231274 (24 August 2023), K241006 (11 July 2024), K250561 (21 March 2025) and K253694 (17 July 2026).

It says it was founded in 2013 by Dr. Elina Berglund Scherwitzl and Dr. Raoul Scherwitzl.
The FDA applicant address is in Stockholm; the company's July 2026 release carries a New York dateline. The funding stage is not recorded because no round was verified.
