What it does
Huma provides the platform layer underneath remote monitoring programmes. Patient-reported symptoms and readings from connected devices flow into one place, deterioration is flagged to a clinical team, and organisations configure the disease-specific application on top rather than building one.
That positioning (infrastructure rather than a single condition-specific app) is what makes the company interesting to study. It sells the same underlying system to a hospital running a hospital-at-home programme and to a pharmaceutical company running a decentralised trial.
