What it does
Cera delivers care in people's homes and builds the software its own carers use. Visits are scheduled, recorded and monitored through the application, and the resulting data is used to flag when someone's condition appears to be deteriorating before it becomes an emergency.
Read the full description
Most healthcare technology companies sell software to a care provider. Cera is the provider, which means the software has a single, captive, and very demanding user base, and the company carries the operational consequences of its own product decisions. That is a harder business and a cleaner feedback loop.
The company reports substantial reductions in hospitalisation among the people it looks after. Those are company-reported figures drawn from its own operations rather than independent trial results.
