What it does
CarePay describes M-TIBA as the core insurance platform and operations partner used by African insurers and managing brokers, with the M-TIBA Member App for benefits, coverage, claim history and digital identification.
In March 2026 M-TIBA discontinued its My Health Funds savings wallet: its own notice told members that access to insurance benefits stayed the same, that balances could be withdrawn before 8 March 2026 and that refunds would go to M-PESA; TechCabal reported the closure on 22 April 2026.
