What it does
SeqOne's platform analyses next-generation sequencing data for rare disease, oncology and infectious disease testing in laboratories, with a variant-prioritisation model the company calls DiagAI. The company says the SeqOne Platform received certification under the EU in vitro diagnostic regulation (IVDR) as a Class C device from the notified body GMED in November 2024; the certificate itself was not read.
Independent evidence
Established from a source other than the company.
The French government's company register lists SEQONE, a société par actions simplifiée created on 21 April 2017 with its registered office in Montpellier, matching the company's privacy notice (SeqOne S.A.S., RCS Montpellier 829 581 586). A study of DiagAI was published in the peer-reviewed journal Current Issues in Molecular Biology on 11 July 2026; seven of its thirteen authors are SeqOne employees and the paper reports no external funding.
What the company says
The company’s own statements, attributed to it and not presented as established fact.
The company says it serves 140+ molecular labs in 20+ countries, and that with Congenica (Cambridge, UK), which it agreed to acquire in September 2025 and whose site now calls it part of the SeqOne family, it serves over 160 customer laboratories in more than 30 countries. Congenica is recorded as an alias, not as a separate company.
Notes on this record
The funding stage is not recorded: a growth round appears on the company's news list, but its release was not read.
