What it does

Memed's platform lets doctors issue digital prescriptions that patients present at pharmacies, with integrations into electronic health records, telemedicine platforms and health operators.

Headquarters and registration

Memed's own terms of use for its pharmacy dispensing product name Memed S/A, a sociedade por ações with its seat in São Paulo, CNPJ 13.077.546/0001-92. The Receita Federal's record for that CNPJ, as redistributed by BrasilAPI, gives MEMED S.A., active, a closed corporation, with an activity start of 16 December 2010 and an address in São Paulo. The founding year is not recorded, because that record could not be confirmed on the Receita Federal's own consultation page (it requires a CAPTCHA) and the company's own founding statement was not read.

Funding

Startups reported on 21 May 2026 that Memed had raised a R$80 million round co-led by DGF and BridgeOne with DNA Capital participating; the company's release, reproduced by two outlets, calls the round fully primary.

What the company says

The company’s own statements, attributed to it and not presented as established fact.

The site reports more than 262,000 registered doctors, 4.7 million prescriptions issued a month and more than 80,000 pharmacies; the release gives about 150,000 doctors active each month and about 100 million digital prescriptions a year. The figures are the company's and are not reconciled here.

Notes on this record

No clinical area is recorded: it is horizontal prescription infrastructure.
